Who we are

Founded in 2025, Chungkeum is a content studio dedicated to creating innovative, globally resonant stories across film, series, and short-form drama.

Led by CEO Katy Kim, whose career spans business development at Kakao IX, content business at Watcha, programming for the London East Asia Film Festival, and producing the Korea–U.S. series Dramaworld 2, Chungkeum brings together creative vision and international production expertise. Kim has also driven numerous domestic and global projects at leading companies including Sanai Pictures and Lewis Pictures.

With a strong foundation in both the creative and commercial dimensions of filmmaking, Chungkeum is building a slate of distinctive original IP with the potential to reach audiences worldwide. In 2025, the company began developing independent films and short-form dramas with support from public funding initiatives and platform partnerships. Since then, Chungkeum has expanded its slate to include commercial feature films, establishing itself as a content studio that brings together artistic vision, market insight, and global reach.

영화사 충금은 2025년 설립된 콘텐츠 제작사로, 글로벌 스토리텔링 역량을 바탕으로 영화, 시리즈, 숏폼드라마 등 다양한 형식의 프로젝트를 기획·제작합니다. 김경민 대표는 카카오IX에서 사업 개발, 왓챠에서 콘텐츠 사업을 담당했으며, 런던아시아영화제에서 프로그래머로 활동한 바 있습니다. 또한 한·미 합작 시리즈 <드라마월드 2> 제작에 참여했고, 사나이픽처스와 루이스픽쳐스 등에서 다수의 국내외 프로젝트를 진행해왔습니다. 콘텐츠 산업 전반의 실무 경험과 국제 공동 제작에 대한 깊은 이해를 바탕으로, 충금은 국내외 시장을 아우르는 창의적이고 감각적인 콘텐츠를 제작하고자 합니다.
